Recognizes that CRNAs have provided anesthesia care for over 150 years and safely administer approximately 43 million anesthetics annually across the United States

Acknowledges CRNAs as the first professional group to provide anesthesia in the U.S. and the oldest recognized group of advanced practice registered nurse specialists

Highlights that CRNAs are the primary anesthesia providers in rural America and have served as the main anesthesia providers for U.S. military personnel since World War I

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to Governor Hochul and the Board Members of the New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists
