New York State Assembly resolution honoring Martha Sauerbrey upon her retirement after 20 years serving on the Tioga County Legislature, including 12 years as chairwoman

Represented Tioga County's 2nd district (Village of Owego) and previously worked for State Senator Tom Libous and spent 15 years at the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce

Key accomplishments include keeping taxes low, supporting veteran services, creating a county administrator role, developing a new radio system for first responders, and leading recovery efforts after major floods in 2006 and 2011

Co-founded Tioga Women Lead in 2015 and the Institute for Advancement, and served on numerous boards including the IDA Board and New York State Association of Counties Board

Named one of the region's "Movers and Shakers" in 2017 by the Binghamton Press for her commitment to progress and community development
