Symptoms include intense skin flushing, inflammation, burning, oozing skin, difficulty regulating body temperature, severe insomnia, and hair loss, potentially lasting months or years

Studies cited show 81% of adults and 56% of children experiencing TSW report anxiety and/or depression, while 47% of adults and 11% of children report suicidal ideation

Resolution calls for increased research, education, and responsible prescribing practices, with copies to be transmitted to the International Topical Steroid Awareness Network (ITSAN) and other health organizations
