Denis Kitchen is being honored as Lifetime Achiever of the Year by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce at their 53rd Annual Awards Gala on March 19, 2026, in Williamsville, New York

Kitchen served 5 years active duty as a Naval Aviator and flight instructor, then 21 years in the Naval Reserve, retiring as Commander

He holds degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology (BS, 1965), Indiana University (MS in Education, 1966), and SUNY Buffalo Law School (JD, 1976), and has practiced law since 1976 in local, state, and federal courts

His community involvement includes serving as President of Christian Counseling Ministries of Western New York, President of Clarence Toastmasters Club, and Elder at Love Joy Gospel Church

Kitchen and his wife Nancy, married in 1967, will celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary in June and have three children
