Senate Resolution commending In Our Own Voices, Inc. (IOOV), a Capital Region community-based organization serving Black and Latine LGBTQ+ communities, during Black History Month 2026

IOOV provides programs including housing assistance, healthcare navigation, mental health support, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, workforce development, and youth empowerment

Organization hosts annual events including the BIPOC Pride Festival and Unity Through Diversity programming to celebrate identity and community resilience

Current leadership includes Board President Rhonda Daniel, CEO Tandra R. LaGrone, and COO Phillip A. Burse

Resolution directs that an engrossed copy be transmitted to IOOV's leadership as an expression of the Legislature's esteem
