New York Senate Resolution honoring Antioch Baptist Church's 24th Pastoral Anniversary celebrating Rev. Dr. Robert M. Waterman's leadership since November 4, 2001

Antioch Baptist Church, founded in 1918, has served the Bedford-Stuyvesant community in Brooklyn for over 107 years as one of the borough's most prominent African-American congregations

Rev. Waterman holds a Master of Divinity from New York Theological Seminary (2003) and Doctorate of Ministry from Drew University (2009), and has licensed and ordained more than 50 clergy leaders between 2014-2024

Under his leadership, the church has seen approximately 100 new believers join annually, along with sanctuary renovations, revitalized youth ministry, and community services programs

Rev. Waterman's civic roles include Director of Career Management Services at Medgar Evers College, Community Board 3 member, President of African American Clergy and Elected Officials, and lifetime NAACP member
