Senate Resolution honoring Danny and Lisa Rosen as recipients of the Young Israel of Plainview Community Leadership Award for Outstanding Service to the Community, to be celebrated on March 22, 2026

Danny Rosen serves as Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, where he founded the Google Jewish Customs project and launched the "What Time is Shabbat?" feature; he also heads YIP's Marketing Committee and led creation of the synagogue's backyard project

Lisa Rosen serves as Senior Associate Provost for Institutional Research and Strategic Analysis at Hofstra University, overseeing the university's reporting and data analytics hub

The couple joined the Young Israel of Plainview community in 2019 after moving to Plainview in 2013, and raise their two children Jared and Zachary there

Resolution commends their community involvement including supporting synagogue initiatives, hosting Shabbos meals, and participating in meal trains as examples of Chesed and Tikkun Olam
