Commemorates the 2026 New York State Senate Women of Distinction and inducts five new honorees into the Historical Women of Distinction exhibit

New 2026 inductees include: Judge Dorothy Chin Brandt (1946-2025), civil rights icon Dr. Hazel N. Dukes (1932-2025), American Indian Law Alliance founder Tonya Gonnella Frichner (1947-2015), Dominican community advocate Dr. Marilu Maria Galván (1946-2024), and U.S. Representative Nita Lowey (1937-2025)

Recognizes historic New York women including Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Nellie Bly

Highlights women who achieved "firsts" in their fields, such as Elizabeth Blackwell (first female physician), Madam C.J. Walker (first self-made female millionaire), and Belva Lockwood (first woman to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court)

Directs engrossed copies be transmitted to the National Women's Hall of Fame and the New York State Division for Women
