Wisdom Farm in Clarence Center, New York, is being honored as Organization of the Year by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce at its 53rd Annual Awards Gala on March 19, 2026

The not-for-profit organization rescues and rehabilitates horses and uses them in equine-facilitated learning programs to support veterans coping with PTSD and others who may benefit from therapeutic programs

Programs offered include equine workshops, Family Healing Days, Wise Warriors Yoga, Heroes Harvest Veterans Garden Project, Stable Fists Shadow Boxing Program, Veterans Day celebrations, and a Young Readers Program for children

All programs are provided at no cost to veterans, their families, and caregivers through fundraising and community support

Founded by Karen Arrison and her late husband, the farm provides lifelong care to rescued, retired, or rehomed animals who play integral roles in participants' healing journeys
