Jolie Chichak of Shenendehowa High School won the 2025 NYSPHSAA Girls Tennis Singles State Championship on October 29, 2025, defeating her opponent from Great Neck South High School 7-6(2), 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY

Chichak became the first Section 2 singles state champion since 1998 and Shenendehowa's first-ever singles state champion

She has held the number 1 singles spot on varsity since 7th grade, compiling records of 15-2, 14-1, and 8-0 across three seasons while qualifying for the state tournament each year

Chichak maintains a 96.33 GPA and earned a four-star rating with a top 100 national ranking from the Tennis Recruiting Network
