New York State Assembly resolution mourning the death of Jonathan A. Dandes of Amherst, New York, who died on February 22, 2026, at age 72

Served over four decades with the Buffalo Bisons baseball organization, including as vice president and general manager of Stadium Services, Inc. (1988-1995), executive vice president of Rich Entertainment Group (1996), and president of Rich Baseball Operations (2001-2018)

Inducted into the Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023 and named an "Outstanding Citizen" of Western New York by the Buffalo News in 2017

Served on numerous community boards including the Ralph C. Wilson Explore & More Children's Museum, Shea's Performing Arts Center, Buffalo Zoological Society, Erie County Medical Center, and as director of the National Kidney Foundation

A 1974 University at Buffalo graduate and longest-serving member of the UB Council; survived by his children Leo and Arin, grandchildren Luca and Leib, and predeceased by his wife Marcy
