Founded in 1976 as the Yonkers Women's Task Force, the organization opened Westchester's first domestic violence shelter and crisis hotline in 1978

Currently reaches 15,000 individuals annually through services, outreach, and education in Westchester County

Provides support to 2,500 families seeking safety, handles 5,000 hotline calls, and delivers legal services to 2,300 survivors each year

Expanded services over the decades to include children's programs, legal representation, trafficking victim support, and services for deaf and hard of hearing survivors
