Creates new crime of criminal trespass on school grounds or children's camp (Class C felony) when a person commits first-degree criminal trespass at an elementary/secondary school, overnight camp, or summer day camp in violation of posted rules

Establishes criminal trespass on a school bus in the second degree (Class A misdemeanor) for willfully damaging a school bus, entering without authorization, refusing to leave when directed, or stopping/impeding a school bus

Establishes criminal trespass on a school bus in the first degree (Class C felony) when second-degree trespass is committed while possessing or knowing another participant possesses explosives, deadly weapons, or loaded firearms

Exempts children under 16 years old and authorized school personnel from school bus trespass provisions related to unauthorized entry, refusal to leave, or impeding buses

Requires the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to promulgate regulations for school bus signage warning that unauthorized entry may result in criminal charges

Mandates professional development school bus driver safety training seminars include training on managing violent incidents, intrusions, and active shooters on school buses
