Requires lands or buildings within the forest preserve that are listed in or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places to be considered for historical classification by the Adirondack Park Agency

Mandates consultation with the Department of Environmental Conservation when developing unit management plans for these historical properties

Adds a new subdivision to Section 816 of the executive law governing how historical sites within the forest preserve are classified and managed

Takes effect immediately upon passage
