Requires health insurance policies providing physician office services or major medical coverage to cover screening for diabetes and prediabetes for individuals with a body mass index (BMI) of 23 kg/m² or greater

Prohibits insurers from imposing deductibles, co-insurance, co-payments, or any other cost-sharing requirements on diabetes and prediabetes screening covered under this mandate

Applies to individual policies, group and blanket accident and health insurance policies, and contracts from medical expense indemnity corporations and health service corporations

Takes effect immediately upon enactment and applies to policies issued, renewed, modified, altered, or amended on or after the effective date
