Exempts school buses from New York state sales and use tax, as defined in section 142 of the vehicle and traffic law

Extends the tax exemption to parts, equipment, lubricants, and fuel purchased and used in school bus operation

Takes effect on the first day of the quarterly sales tax period following April 1, 2026

Authorizes state agencies to develop necessary rules and regulations prior to the effective date
