Requires the Commissioner of Mental Hygiene to notify the chief executive officer of any municipality when a sex offender is transferred to a community program or residence within that municipality

Mandates notification to the superintendent of schools in the district where the facility is located

Notice must be provided no later than 10 calendar days prior to the transfer

Defines sex offender according to section 168-a of the correction law
