Creates new class C felony of "aggravated reckless endangerment" for knowingly possessing fentanyl or fentanyl derivatives and recklessly exposing first responders, correction officers, correctional facility employees, or active duty military personnel to such substances in a manner likely to cause illness or injury

Adds aggravated reckless endangerment to the list of qualified offenses that courts must consider when determining bail and release conditions under Criminal Procedure Law section 510.10

Includes the new offense among crimes courts must consider when issuing securing orders for felony complaints under Criminal Procedure Law section 530.20

Adds aggravated reckless endangerment to qualifying offenses under Criminal Procedure Law section 530.40 regarding modification of securing orders

Takes effect immediately upon passage
