Mandates hospitals provide information on non-surgical reconstructive options, including aesthetic flat closure and breast forms

Requires written disclosure of insurance coverage provisions for reconstructive surgery under federal and state law before obtaining surgical consent

Requires information on how patients can access reconstructive care, including transferring to facilities that provide such care or pursuing reconstruction after cancer treatment

Takes effect January 1 following enactment
