Requires school districts to provide drowning prevention, water safety, and safe swimming information to parents/guardians of all enrolled students beginning in the 2026-2027 school year

After the first year, information must be provided to parents/guardians upon new student enrollment; students 18 or older receive the information directly

Information may be delivered electronically or in paper form, with translations into the 12 most common non-English languages available upon request

Commissioner of Health must produce and update the water safety materials in consultation with the Education Commissioner, who will distribute to school districts

School districts must publish the water safety information in a clearly visible and accessible location on their websites
