Removes the requirement that crossbows used for hunting have a minimum limb width of 17 inches and overall length of 24 inches from buttstock to front of limbs

Eliminates the minimum peak draw weight of 100 pounds and maximum peak draw weight of 200 pounds for hunting crossbows

Removes the specification that crossbows must launch a minimum 14-inch bolt (not including point)

Retains the requirement that crossbows used for hunting must have a working safety on the trigger unit

Takes effect immediately upon passage
