Adds a new exemption allowing New York State to employ junior or assistant landscape architects in positions with titles approved and in use before this law's effective date, provided they work under a licensed landscape architect's supervision

Updates terminology in existing exemptions by replacing "nurseryman" with "employee of a nursery" and "landscape nurseryman" with "employee of a nursery which grow trees and shrubs for landscape purposes"

Maintains existing exemption for New York City to employ junior or assistant landscape architects in positions with titles approved as of July 1, 1971, under licensed supervision

Preserves exemptions for various professions including agriculturists, horticulturists, tree experts, arborists, foresters, gardeners, and landscape contractors, who may not use "landscape architect" designation without licensure
