Requires all health insurance policies providing medical or comprehensive coverage to cover follow-up screening and diagnostic services for lung cancer when recommended by a health care provider following nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines

Prohibits insurers from imposing any patient cost sharing (copays, deductibles, coinsurance) for lung cancer follow-up screening or diagnostic services

Defines "nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines" as evidence-based, peer-reviewed guidelines developed by independent organizations or medical professional societies with transparent methodology and conflict of interest policies

Allows insurers to conduct utilization review and require preauthorization to ensure services align with clinical guidelines

Exempts high deductible health plans from the no cost-sharing requirement if applying it would make enrollees ineligible for health savings accounts; takes effect January 1, 2027
