Increases the minimum prison sentence for predatory sexual assault against a child from 10 years to 25 years, with the maximum term changed to life imprisonment

Applies the same 25-year minimum and life maximum sentence to second felony offenders convicted of predatory sexual assault against a child

Separates sentencing for predatory sexual assault against a child (section 130.96) from standard predatory sexual assault (section 130.95), which retains the 10-25 year minimum range

Requires lifetime parole supervision for anyone convicted of predatory sexual assault against a child after their release from prison

Takes effect on the first of November following enactment
