Removes "firearm" from the list of weapons that, when displayed during an offense, prevent an adolescent offender's case from being transferred to family court (shotguns, rifles, and other deadly weapons remain on the list)

Adds a new provision requiring adolescent offenders who were illegally in possession of a loaded firearm to remain in criminal court rather than being eligible for family court removal

Applies to the "raise the age" law provisions governing which adolescent offender cases can be transferred from criminal court to family court jurisdiction

Takes effect on the first of November following enactment
