Eliminates residential rehabilitation units as an alternative housing option for incarcerated individuals, including those with serious mental illness, throughout the correction law

Extends timeframes for mental health assessments from 7 days to 14 days for individuals placed in segregated confinement at level three and four facilities

Reduces required out-of-cell therapeutic treatment for incarcerated individuals with serious mental illness from 3 hours daily to 2 hours per day, five days a week

Repeals multiple provisions of correction law including subdivisions related to residential rehabilitation units, time limits on segregated confinement, and various protections enacted in 2021 reforms
