Authorizes counties, cities, towns, and villages wholly or partially within the Adirondack Park to establish special districts for financing and operating general ambulance services

Allows municipalities to act individually or jointly with other Adirondack Park municipalities to create these ambulance service districts

Requires districts to follow the same procedures used for establishing fire districts or joint fire districts under Town Law articles 11 and 11-A

Mandates that any municipality establishing or joining a new joint ambulance district must dissolve any preexisting local district serving the same area

Adds this special district option to the existing methods municipalities can use to provide general ambulance services under General Municipal Law section 122-b
