Requires applicants to hold a master's degree or higher in genetic counseling or human genetics, pass an examination, be at least 21 years old, and pay $300 for initial licensure and $200 for triennial re-registration

Provides a two-year transition period allowing currently certified genetic counselors to obtain licensure without additional examination requirements, with the law taking effect two years after passage
