Requires New York City marshals to provide notice of eviction using the same method prescribed for service of a notice of petition, rather than only by physical posting

Mandates marshals complete an electronic filing within one business day of serving a notice of eviction

Defines "business day" as any day other than Saturday or Sunday for purposes of the filing requirement

Specifies electronic filing must follow procedures described in section 2103-a of the New York City Civil Court Act

Takes effect immediately but is tied to the existing section 749-a of the real property actions and proceedings law (added by Chapter 129 of 2024) and will expire when that section is repealed
