Creates new crime of "inciting violence against a police officer" under Penal Law section 240.12

Defines the offense as advocating violence against one or more police officers with the intention of inciting or producing imminent violence, where such advocacy is likely to incite or produce that violence

Classifies the offense as a class D felony (punishable by up to 7 years in prison under New York law)

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law
