Requires the Director of the Office for the Aging to develop educational materials on elder abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse, neglect, self-neglect, and financial exploitation

Mandates establishment of written procedures and policies for senior centers and contractors to follow when employees encounter elder abuse, including information and referral protocols

Creates a training program for senior service providers covering detection, reporting, and counseling of elder abuse victims

Requires employees of senior centers and contracted entities who have significant direct contact with seniors to complete elder abuse training and refresher training at least once every three years

Mandates senior centers hold at least two educational sessions per year for guests and members on elder abuse prevention, awareness, detection, and reporting

Takes effect 120 days after becoming law
