Extends Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) eligibility for undergraduates from 4 to 6 academic years of study in the aggregate

Increases TAP eligibility for students in programs normally requiring 5 years from 5 to 7 academic years

Extends TAP eligibility for students in 2-year programs from 3 to 4 academic years

Students who must transfer due to permanent college closure remain eligible for up to 2 additional semesters when credits are non-transferable

Takes effect on the first of July following enactment
