Extends the same protection to merit time allowances, which can be earned through obtaining a GED, substance abuse treatment certificate, vocational certificate, college credits, or community work crew service

Protects individuals serving definite sentences from having time allowances withheld, forfeited, or cancelled when program non-completion results from circumstances outside their control

Prevents denial of earned eligibility certificates and presumptive release based on failure to participate in assigned programs when such failure is due to circumstances beyond the incarcerated person's control

Updates gendered language throughout the correction law sections (replacing "his or her" with "such person's" or "such incarcerated individual's")
