Expands insurance coverage for breast cancer screening to include sonograms and other diagnostic procedures for individuals with a prior history of breast cancer or a first-degree relative with breast cancer history

Requires large group insurance policies to cover annual mammograms for all covered persons aged 35-39 and those with personal or first-degree family history of breast cancer

Adds a new provision allowing a single baseline mammogram for covered persons under age 35 upon physician recommendation, subject to medical necessity determination by the insurer

Applies to group and blanket insurance policies, as well as contracts from medical expense indemnity corporations, hospital service corporations, and health service corporations

Takes effect on the same date as Chapter 424 of the Laws of 2024
