Requires any policies, procedures, rules, or regulations governing permits for parades or temporary use of public space to be reviewed and approved by the local governing body (county, city, town, or village) with jurisdiction over the property

Applies to both existing and newly proposed permit requirements from departments or agencies

Proposed permit policies would not take effect until approved by the relevant local governing body

Takes effect 180 days after becoming law
