Allows workers' compensation carriers or employers to receive credit against permanent partial disability benefits for any temporary partial disability payments made after the first 130 weeks of such payments

Credits apply only to weeks where compensation was paid solely pursuant to temporary partial disability provisions (subdivision five), counting those subsequent weeks against the maximum benefit weeks allowed

Removes the requirement that carriers must have produced or had reasonable opportunity to produce an independent medical examination concerning maximum medical improvement before credit determinations

Eliminates the provision that allowed carriers to receive credit for weeks of temporary disability paid after a maximum medical improvement finding against the maximum benefit weeks awarded

Updates the effective date reference from the 2017 law amendments to 2025 amendments and applies to claimants with accident or disablement dates after the act's effective date
