Requires all employers of one or more domestic workers to provide up to 40 hours of paid sick leave per calendar year, regardless of employer size

Currently, employers with four or fewer employees are only required to provide unpaid sick leave (unless their net income exceeds $1 million)

Defines "domestic worker" by reference to existing Labor Law section 2, subdivision 16

Takes effect immediately upon passage
