Establishes the Office of Expungement and Automatic Sealing within the Division of Criminal Justice Services to oversee sealing and expungement of eligible convictions under Criminal Procedure Law sections 160.50, 160.55, 160.58, and 160.59

Requires the office to inform defendants and their attorneys when convictions are eligible for sealing or expungement

Directs the office to ensure eligible convictions are sealed and expunged accurately and in a timely manner, and to act as an advocate for individuals seeking such relief

Mandates the office develop regulations, standards, guidelines, and best practices for the sealing and expungement process

Requires other state agencies to cooperate with and assist the office in performing its duties
