Grants peace officer status to reserve deputies employed by the Erie County Sheriff's Office by adding a new subdivision 88 to Section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law

Reserve deputies would not be authorized to carry, possess, repair, or dispose of a firearm unless they obtain the appropriate license under Section 400.00 of the penal law

Takes effect immediately upon passage
