New York resident members of the naval militia, New York Air National Guard, Army National Guard, and New York Guard would receive state reimbursement for health insurance premiums when activated by the governor

Reimbursement calculated at one-thirtieth of the member's monthly premium for each day of active service, covering individual, group, or TRICARE health insurance policies

State reimbursement only applies to coverage not already paid for by another governmental entity, and members who decline health insurance receive no direct payment

The state is not responsible for procuring health insurance policies on behalf of these military members

The adjutant general, in consultation with the state comptroller, must establish rules and regulations to implement the reimbursement program
