Amends the Surrogate's Court Procedure Act to establish new tiered filing fee rates for estates valued at $500,000 and above, which previously had a flat $1,250 fee for all estates over $500,000

Creates five new fee brackets: $1,875 for estates $750,000-$1,000,000; $2,500 for $1,000,000-$2,000,000; $5,000 for $2,000,000-$3,000,000; $7,500 for $3,000,000-$5,000,000; and $10,000 for estates $5,000,000 and over

Maintains existing fee structure for estates under $500,000, ranging from $45 for estates under $10,000 to $625 for estates between $250,000 and $500,000

Takes effect 30 days after becoming law and applies only to actions and proceedings commenced on or after the effective date
