Amends New York Penal Law section 125.25 to require a defendant be more than 25 years old to be convicted of felony murder

Applies to felony murder charges arising from robbery, burglary, kidnapping, arson, rape in the first degree, sexual abuse in the first degree, aggravated sexual abuse, and escape in the first or second degree

Effectively exempts individuals age 25 and under from felony murder liability when a death occurs during the commission of or flight from an underlying felony

Takes effect immediately upon passage
