Mandated reporters must now report allegations of reportable incidents involving vulnerable persons to three entities: a 9-1-1 operator, the county district attorney's office, AND the vulnerable persons' central register (previously only the register was required)

Failure by a human services professional to report suspected abuse or neglect to all three required entities is upgraded from a class A misdemeanor to a class E felony

All state and private agencies with mandatory reporters must retrain all staff on the new reporting requirements to 9-1-1 and the county district attorney's office

All state and private websites, training manuals, informational brochures, and pamphlets must be updated to direct reporting to 9-1-1 and the county district attorney's office

Former posters, wallet cards, and other materials directing reporting to the Justice Center must be removed and replaced with materials directing 9-1-1 reporting, displayed conspicuously
