Amends Criminal Procedure Law section 2.15 to add Federal Bureau of Investigation police to the list of federal officers granted peace officer powers in New York State

Currently, only FBI special agents have these peace officer powers; this bill expands coverage to FBI police officers as well

FBI police are uniformed officers who provide security and law enforcement at FBI facilities, distinct from FBI special agents who conduct investigations

Takes effect immediately upon passage
