Updates the name of the Pound Ridge Volunteer Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association to use gender-neutral terminology, changing "Firemen's" to "Firefighters'" and "fireman" to "firefighter" throughout the charter

Expands the association's stated purposes to include providing health and safety support, social and recreational activities, and promoting welfare of volunteer members and their families

Updates references to insurance law sections from the outdated sections 553 and 554 to the current sections 9104 and 9105 regarding foreign fire insurance premium tax collection

Broadens the permitted uses of collected fire insurance premium taxes from only "care and relief of disabled or indigent volunteer firefighters" to all purposes set forth in the updated charter

Removes the requirement to obtain written approval from the state board of social welfare before establishing any home or institution

Tax-related amendments take effect for premiums received on and after January 1, 2026
