Authorizes the Office for the Aging to contract with statewide organizations to establish a databank of individuals wishing to volunteer for programs serving the aging population

Requires the office to establish guidelines for the databank covering data entry requirements, confidentiality, screening, access, and data correction procedures

Creates training programs to prepare volunteers for their specific tasks and to teach nonprofit organizations how to effectively utilize volunteers

Permits collaboration with SUNY and CUNY to develop the volunteer training curriculum

Updates existing senior volunteer program language to use gender-neutral terminology ("such pupil's" instead of "his or her")

Takes effect immediately, with the new databank and training provisions becoming effective April 1st of the year following enactment
