Study must examine prevalence, causes, effects, risks, and costs of domestic violence affecting the transgender community

Study must identify ways to reduce domestic violence and increase reporting within the transgender community

Study must examine reasons why domestic violence disproportionately affects Black transgender women

Report with findings and legislative recommendations must be submitted to the Governor and legislative leaders within one year of the act's effective date
