Establishes mandatory reporting requirements for suspected abuse of seniors (defined as persons 60 years or older) to adult protective services

Designates mandatory reporters including healthcare workers, social workers, mental health professionals, law enforcement officials, and financial professionals (bankers, attorneys, paralegals) with access to seniors' financial records

Defines seven categories of senior abuse: physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional/psychological abuse, neglect, abandonment, financial/material exploitation, and self-neglect

Requires reports to be made within 48 hours of discovery by telephone, fax, or email, with written follow-up reports within 48 hours of any oral report

Prohibits retaliation against employees who make good faith reports and makes willful failure to report a class A misdemeanor with civil liability for resulting damages
