Amends Penal Law Section 250.45 to add a new subdivision criminalizing drone surveillance as unlawful surveillance in the second degree

Prohibits intentionally using or permitting the use of a device to surreptitiously view, broadcast, or record another person through aerial imaging technology without their knowledge or consent

Applies when the surveillance occurs at a place and time when a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy

Takes effect immediately upon passage
