Allows courts to depart from mandatory minimum sentences, suspend portions of sentences, or transfer cases to family court for defendants under age 20 who committed offenses against individuals who trafficked or sexually abused them

Enables juvenile offenders to request hearings to determine if their offense was committed against someone who sexually exploited them or as a direct result of being a trafficking victim, with cases removable to family court if proven by preponderance of evidence

Creates a resentencing process for currently incarcerated individuals who were under 20 at the time of their offense and can demonstrate they were victims of trafficking or sexual exploitation by the person they offended against

Provides for court-appointed attorneys for eligible applicants during resentencing proceedings and subsequent appeals

Credits any time already served toward recalculated sentences for those granted resentencing under the new provisions
